There are 3 arenas
currently available:
The Ring of Trials
(Nagrand)
The Circle of Blood
(Blade’s Edge
Mountains)
The Ruins of
Lordaeron (Tirisfal
Glades)
Arena Teams
Arena Teams can be
formed by purchasing
an Arena Charter
from an “Arena
Organizer.” Arena
Organizers are
located outside the
Circle of Blood and
The Ring, but
several can also be
found in Goblin
towns.
“King” Dond (Ring of
Trials)
Steamwheedle Sam
(Circle of Blood)
Bip Nigstrom
(Gadgetzan)
Arena Charter prices
depend on the size
of the team being
created:
2v2 – 80 gold
3v3 – 120 gold
5v5 – 200 gold
If you are currently
on an Arena team and
wish to quit the
team, use one of the
following commands
depending on your
Arena team size:
/teamquit 2v2
/teamquit 3v3
/teamquit 5v5
If you are the
current Arena
Captain and wish to
disband your current
Arena team, use one
of the following
commands depending
on your Arena team
size:
/teamdisband 2v2
/teamdisband 3v3
/teamdisband 5v5
Important Note:
There is a current
issue where using
the /teamquit and
/teamdisband
commands can
potentially cause
you to leave or
disband the wrong
team. In order to
prevent this, please
log out and log back
into the game prior
to using these
commands to prevent
the incorrect team
from being left on
accident.
Arena Queueing
Players can queue
for a battleground
by speaking to an
Arena Battlemaster
located in each
major city as well
as outside the
physical location of
each Arena (except
for The Ruins of
Lordaeron, which
does not have a
physical location on
the World Map).
Arena Rating
Each Arena team
begins with a
default rating of
1500. This team
rating will move up
or down depending on
your team’s
performance. Your
Team Rating will
determine the amount
of Arena points
earned for that
week. Additionally,
all players have a
Personal Rating that
is independent of
your Team Rating.
Your Personal Rating
also moves up or
down depending on
your team’s
performance, but
only for the matches
your character
participates in.
Wins/losses incurred
by your team during
matches that you do
not participate in
do not affect your
Personal Rating.
Arena Points
All arena teams must
participate in a
minimum of 10 arena
matches to be
eligible for Arena
Points.
In order to be
eligible for Arena
points for a given
week a player must
have participated in
at least 30% of the
total matches
completed by that
team.
Games played during
the arena
calculation period
will not count for
the current week. In
order to ensure that
all games played
count towards your
eligibility for
points, please try
and complete your
games prior to
Monday night.
5000 Arena Point
maximum at any given
time.
If you are on
multiple arena
teams, you will only
receive Arena points
from the team that
would generate the
highest total of
points for that
Arena Week.
Weekly arena points
are calculated
Monday Night/Tuesday
morning prior to
maintenance.
Arena Points can be
used to purchase
items from Arena
Vendors located
outside the Arenas
in Nagrand and
Blade’s Edge
Mountains as well as
the Goblin towns of
Gadgetzan and Area
52.
Arena Titles
Arena titles are
awarded at the end
of each Arena
Season. Arena titles
earned for
performance in the
previous season are
not permanent and
will only last until
the next season
begins. The top 0.5%
teams on each
Battlegroup receive
the highest Arena
title along with a
special epic flying
mount. Other Arena
titles are handed
out also depending
on your teams
ranking amongst the
Battlegroup.

epic flying sent in
mail)
Top .5% - 3%:

Top 3% - 10%: Rival
Top 10% - 35%:
